no thats the y pipe.. what he has a picture of is the rear part of the pipe with the heatshield that goes to the cat... what your thinkign of is the extension where the 02 sensor is mounted in the 97
+ which is right after the cat and before the b pipe.

Thanks for the replies guys but honestly, I'm still confused!

Just to clarify, the front of the car is towards the left of the picture and the back is to the right of the picture.

I was thinking of replacing my entire exhaust sytem (excluding the muffler and cat), if I buy the Budget Y-pipe, what other parts would I need?

Also, whatever that arrow is pointing to (that ring thing) has since rusted off. What part, if I wanted to order one, would that be called? Or even a oem part number would help.

That ring is just a weld seam. To fix that, your cheapest route would be to get an exhaust shop to weld it back up. A better route would be to install one of the many aftermarket y pipes made. The y pipe is by far the best exhaust mod you can do. I would recommend Warpspeed's or Budget's.

So besides buying a Budge Y-pipe, are there any other parts I would need or that's it?
