side marker rewire issue

ok i know that these mods are do at ur own risk things and that no one is responsible for what happens to ur car. but hey no one told me that because they run hotter that the housings will crack. in the writeups there is nothing. not one freakin word. im not ****ed, becuase no i have a reason to get either one piece. but someone should def add this to the write ups..

This problem could have been easily found using search.

There have been lots of threads discussing the pros (not many) and cons (many) reasons for rewiring your corner lights.

Are you actually talking abouut the corner lights next to the headlight or the ones next to the blinker? Either way if you did the install RIGHT there should be no problem. My lens hasn't cracked, burned, or become black. I'm actually in the process of rewiring my blinkers to see if I'll like it...

the ones next to the headlights. and i never saw the other threads.. im just saying that it should also be one the same page as the description for the mod... also, i did do the mod RIGHT. its not hard to cut the nub off a bulb...

how long were u running them?? how long ago did u do the mod? i've had them done for atleast 9 months with no problems. i don't think i can handle any more problems.

use nail clippers to cut it off. It takes 5 minutes tops to do both sides...

ive had it or about 3 months.. i think it may also be because i have the lights on when im hanging out and the car is running to keep us warm. i think that because theres no air running over them that the get hot and when i move the cold air cracks them.. o well. time for one piece. ange whens the next GB... or anyone have these for sale...
