Narva Gold H3 fog bulbs burned out after 6 hours... defect, or problem with my car?

I bought some Narva rally gold H3 fog light bulbs from suvlights.com, and they looked REALLY awesome... for about 6 1/2 hours. I installed them this afternoon. I took extra care NOT to touch the bulbs. Everything was installed correctly (that I'm aware of... I've installed fog light bulbs on my car before without any problems). I drove over to a friend's house tonight and on the way noticed that one wasn't working. During the night we went out and tried again, and then BOTH were not working anymore... we jiggled the wires and made sure the clips in the lamps were secure, but no-go... they appear to be dead.

Burned out after 6 hours! What kind of crap is that? My lenses are cracked but I was reading in another thread about the Narva bulbs and it said it should not be a problem. It sure isn't a problem with my regular fog bulbs. And there's no rain or anything right now to even let water in there so I do not think that's it.

Do you think the bulbs are burned out, or could it be something like burned wiring harness or something from the 85W bulbs? (do fog lights even have wiring harnesses?) and has anybody had any experience trying to get suvlights.com to replace defective bulbs before?

I have the Rally Gold from them... 85W... I haven't had any problems with them by I hardly use them at night with my HIDs.

If your lens(es) is/are cracked and allows any condensation in, it will probably kill your bulbs.

The Narvas have been the only reliable bulbs for me so far. I got through nearly a year with them before one burned out (gotta replace it).

If I had to guess I would say that it's your cracked lenses that caused it since the bulb shouldn't burn out THAT fast under any circumstances.

If you are running 85W bulbs you are risking cracking your lenses no amtter what brand they are...

I'd suspect your car before these bulbs. I have a number of friends using the same bulbs and they've been running them for about 2 years now without incident.
