just installed warpspeed y pipe the other day and it's making some weird noises. I've searched the forum but can't find anything like what I'm hearing. Its hard to describe the sound....almost like a cross between radio static and two pieces of styrofoam rubbing together. its mostly when the car is cold, but does persist when warm just not as bad, and seems to be usually when turning left and WOT. any ideas? is it just the flex section?

 

Pobably the famous bees in a can sound. Just wrap the flex section with header/exhaust wrap. Obviously you didn't search and don't say you did the next time you're too damn lazy...

I've read all that **** about bees in the can sound and header wrap and what I got sounds nothin like bees in a can, so **** you. no one said anything about the noise only happening when turning left, but I did read on about banging noises while turning. but I don't have a banging noise so I thought it might be different. damn you're a *****.
