foglight brackets

Are the brackets for 97-99 foglights the same with 95-96 brackets?
I'm switching to 97-99 foglights and if the 95 and 97 brackets are the same then I just need to take the foglights out without the brackets. If i do have to take the brackets out, do I have to take the bumper off?

Thanks for any help.

To have 97 fogs you need a 97 bumper to start. As for the bracket I think they are. If you search for CONVERSION it mentions all the parts but fog light brackets are rarely, if ever mentioned...

Don't know if the brackets are different or not, but when I took mine out on my 98 max, I did not have to take the front bumper off.

actually I do have all parts for conversion. But I'm selling my 96 fogs and need to take it off asap and I'm trying not to take the bumper off now because don't have much time to do it.

Yeah, they might be a little difficult, but you can do it.

Fogs yes, brackets I don't know. On the 96 fogs there is plastic piece that can be popped up to show the screw that holds them in place. The screw is on each fog light towards the middle of the bumper...
