gearing difference between a 5 speed and 6 speed
ok, some guy was saying that gearing on a 5speed is better than a 6.
Gear Ratios on 5spd
--------------------
1st - 3.285
2nd - 1.850
3rd - 1.272
4th - 0.954
5th - 0.795
Final - 3.823
Gear Ratios on 6spd
--------------------
1st - 3.153
2nd - 1.944
3rd - 1.392
4th - 1.055
5th - 0.809
6th - 0.630
Final - 3.812
I found this just for him.

I didn't know you cared so much. But why the hell didn't you just post this in the other thread? What is this supposed to prove anyway? That you can read and write? Call the guy at MAXIMUM TUNNING maybe he'll knock some sense into that thick, ignorant, and empty skull of yours...

There's really no difference in the gearing between these trannies the gearing multiplication is so minor. It takes about a 20% change in gearing to make any change in acceleration and neither of these trannies offer more a difference of about 2-3%.
