Shocks for a 96 GLE

Hello, I sold my 4th gen to my Mom a long while ago. Its time for her to replace her struts and shocks, get new tires and do an alignment. Want to help her get it back into shape for more years of enjoyment.

What shocks and struts to you recommend and from where? She is not a perfromance nut, so something equal or better then factory for a good price. Thanks for the help.

Tokico Blues.

They will make the car ride very smooth for a better then factory ride.

As far as tires go, throw on a set of Dunlop Sport A2's for her. They run very smooth and quiet and perform well too.

+1 on both things that Tom said. OEM-sized A2s can be had from tire rack for relatively cheap. It almost makes me wish that I had 15" rims...

And i have tokico blues on my 96 GLE. Even w/ aftermarket springs the ride id as good or better than stock. w/ OEM springs they are definately the way to go. The only other cost-effective strut option would be KYB GR2 struts.

Yes, how much are these blues and the best vendor to get them from? Also, she has 17s, I was thinking yokohama es1000s. Have them on my G35, though for her, I don't want something with a low profile, the car is not lowered.

I see the KYB GR-2s at TireRack. $67 each for the front, $57 for the rear. How much are the blues though and where can I see/buy them online?
