please help

Wat up guys, I got a little problem, and I hope you guys can help me. Okay I got a 97 max se 5sp and the idle is around 500 rpms. I know that the idle is too low but sometimes it goes back up to around 700 650ish. I really want to fix this because it feels like a 4 banger when its idling and its driving me crazy. Do you guys think it could be the throttle body, The car only has 68,000 miles on it. The original owner took good care of the car, BUT I DON'T THINK HE EVER CLEANED THE THROTTLE BODY. thank you my fellow maxi crew

The search is broken. Im a noob but Ill try to help. Try cleaning the TB and see if that does anything http://www.motorvate.ca/mvp.php/517 . Change the fuel filter if that has never been done and you can also try to clean the IAC valve, I never have done it but I heard that can give you a low idle if dirty. Also get a Haynes manual if you dont have one already.

TB cleaning is inexpensive, and easy to do yourself. Good place to start.
