i dont see why the wiring would be difficult... the signal lines for brake lights, turn signals, and reverse lines are like any other car. You would just need to splice the stock lines, and hook them up to the new tails

all tails go on the same idea, bulbs and lenses...you just need to hook the right wires up to the right places, easy

I told you that wiring would be a breeze. It HAS been done, but its not common at all. please, post tons of pics (lights out of the car, wired up, in the car, etc)

yeah, this stuff i have to see since half of our tail lights are on the trunk lid. its a lot of labour and one of the reasons why i didnt go custom with my 1995. I figured i might just get a toureg or rx330 next year ;P

does this count?

When you finish with the tails, you should put some R34 headlights on the car, and get a hood and front bumper to match. Do a complete Skline conversion, it'll look hot. Or, you can do what i'm doing and save up $95000 for a new skyline. Only $94975 more, and it will be mine.....muahahahahahaha

Just find someone that has a skyline (local import shop, rich person...etc) and steal it. Or take a sentra, altima or maxima, put on a "skyline" body kit, and "skyline" headlights and tails...and you can be just as cool

a 3rd gen guy to new m3 projectors, and a kinda square body kit. whole thing was hot. the skyline headlights arent anything TOO special, general maxima projectors are better

Actually, it's been done a whole bunch of times by various people, on and off the org. The last one i saw was painted this nasty yellow color, and it was for sale on Ebay. The guy had done a tailight and headlight conversion, and had a custom kit made for it, and threw a rice wing on the rear, like something off of an R32. It can be done, it just requires a lot of bondo and time.

SXN: what projectors? you and i both know that the only chance in hell for a set of projectors on the 4th gen is to fit 5th gen HIDs on to it. A true set of projectors, like what the civics, focuses, and WRX's have, will most likely not be availible until the max becomes an official rice car.

there are a couple sets out now. not cheap...but they're finally available. I like my stock headlights, but want to put a minor (very very minor) tint on them. I got the hyperblack corners...and dig that look more. Im fine with bright headlights, but i dont feel the need for a full conversion or projectors
