This noise seems to be somewhat intermittent but lately I've been hearing it again.

I haven't been able to source the exact location of the squeak (which is exactly that by the way) but what I do know is that:

- It only surfaces when I go over rough roads/bumps
- Typically tends to come up when I have a front passenger but I have heard it a couple of times when I'm alone in the car
- It appears to be coming from the passenger side area..but not sure if it's the rear or the front

I've been busy lately but I spent about 10-15 minutes shaking things around on the passenger side of the cabin but didn't find anything that would create that noise..the front seat seems to be secure as with the rear bench, etc..

Has anyone experienced something similar and does anyone know what it could be?

Damn search has been taken off, guess I'll be donating within the month

 

check the windshield defogger vent. there's a sensor or plug there that squeeks on my car as well. its directly in front of the passenger airbag under the glass.

it might be the same squeeking youre experiencing.
