5sp swap; driveaxle stuck

well, since the search function is disabled, i'll post my question:

i'm in the process of a 5sp swap, having trouble removing passenger driveaxle from 5sp donor car. I removed the 3 12mm bolts from the support bracket, but nothing seems to be loose. anyone else have this problem, any suggestions?
thanks!

you've got to break loose the rust holding that piece in there...just tap it slightly with a hammer..and you should be all good

either way it doesn't matter...you'll have to separat it form the axle if you're replacing it...or hit it with some WD-40 and go to town...it can't hurt...just don't nail the axle itself too much and you should be A-OK

Un-bolt the bracket from the block and leave it on the axle. Then bolt that bracket onto your block.

When swapping engines I couldn't get the axle to seperate from the bracket...so that's what I did. However, I did it after too much pulling, and seperated the inner CV on the axle, and had to rebuild it.
