looks really good on the 4th gens. hey nismotam where did you get yours ?

also , are hood pins necessary ..some places so there is no need ? just wondering . going to be ordering me one soon and wanted to see how cool they looked ...

what about weight ?

Hood pins are necessary unless you want to risk your hood to fly up and crack your windshield when racing down the track.

why do all the fiberglass ones seem to have a small gap between hood and passenger headlight? eyelids look nice as hell with cf hoods and cover up the gap. Slammed, i like those eye lids.

that happened to my friend with an accord. his hood flew off and smashed into his windshield on the highway. only major damage was the windshield which needed to be replaced. only thing wrong with the cf hood was a small crack in the clear coat. damn.. carbon fiber = strong like a ****

Thats because your friend with the Accord could only get his car up to 45 mph.

has the hood been any more trouble, a pain in the rear, or have any regrets with the cf hood ?

meeccanoble was saying something about a gap between hood and headlights. is there and issue here ?
