Misfire code, but no CES light?
Misfire code, but no CEL?
On my way home from work, the car started misfiring, somtimes does it when it's cold out, but usually goes away within seconds, now, it hasn't gone away in about 50 miles. I went home and checked the ECU for codes and got 0603, cyl #6 misfire, but I get no CEL, ( ghost code.) I changed the spark plug, and no difference. So my options now are either coil pack or injector, but the injectors seem to sound all the same, I sill need to check their resistance. Also, just to kake sure, CYl#6 is on the LEFT bank, correct?
Any help appreciated(I would've searched but, got a little anxiuos to wait until it gets back up and running)

This has happened before when i was connecting my Harlan switch, I touched the hot wire with the rpm input signal, and it missed , then i turned it off, and it was fine, about 6 months ago. And recently I may have done the same while installing my Summit RPM switch, could this have fried my coil pack?
