dealership has em. so does o'reilly. suprised that autozone or pep boys doesn't have em. all the places i checked were $10 for oem plats including dealership. oem doesn't spec copper plugs, but you could cross reference em and get copper for $2.50 or so.

In Chicago, Pep Boys carried the NGK coppers, but were out of stock of the ones I needed. Didn't want to go to the stealership so I bought them from NAPA. See if you have a local NAPA store near you

Ask people near you if they know: http://forums.maxima.org/forumdisplay.php?f=42

NAPA carries the NGK plugs to fit your car, but they're about the same price as from the dealer ~$11.XX ea. My experience with NAPA is that they sell quality parts and if they don't have something in stock they can get it for you very quickly. Recommend you spend the extra money and go with the platinums...they'll last much longer than copper core plugs.

Pep boys carries the v-power plugs you need. It's just that on the computer, only the platinum plugs are listed for the max, and they're a special order. No copper plugs of any type are listed on the computer for the maxima. I worked at a pep boys until I quit last friday, as a parts guy. It sucks there, and we're mostly a bunch of incompetent part-time kids who know nothing and care nothing about cars, but if you find the part number of the NGK coppers you need and ask for six of those, they'll probably have it.

With the NGK Copper can you just take out the old ones and put the new ones in? Doesnt it already have the gap set for maximas?
