What happened to the guy w/homemade intake???

there was a guy a while back posting on the forum, that he had made this really bad *** intake. He had test drovin it out on his neighborhood, and ran abunch of cars and won. Supposably most of them thought his car had turbo, but it was stock with just a intake. He said that if these results where true for his car, and I think (3 of his buddies) he would start selling them. Did he???? or what happened? Also can someone tell me what WOT means, I have not figured that one out, thanks.

i have no idea what you are talking about.. many members have made their own intake.. one dood took out his front headlight and had an air ram put there. lots of different stuff. so be more specific

WOT- means wide open throttle...aka.. stomping it.

Sound like your talking about "Fast lane" something or other. I don't care what people say. IMO an intake is an intake is an intake is an intake. I have yet to see one design that is substantialy better than another. The biggest difference between intakes IMO is how they look under the hood and how they sound.

I figure you are talking about me. I was trying to market a line of custom parts and was really not getting any response, so I got another job and started school full time again. Is this the intake you are talking about?

I am about to install my new engine with 18k miles, poly motor mounts, test pipe and UDP; That should take me into the low 14's.

Hey plurco...what is that in your engine? No, not the intake but the other thing that looks like a silver engine cover? Right about the "Nissan V6 3000"

Nah I plan on going turbo with my new motor. My 14.7 run was with with factory catback budget Y, MEVI intake and ACT clutch on a 90+ degree day.

His name here is SIN and he's from Toronto. I've seen him post recently in the Canada forum. Try pm'ing him...let's know what happened.

Personally, I think he's a pretty good driver and just out-drove the drivers he ran up against. Or I could be wrong

Personally, I went back to stock with just a K&N panel filter and elbow removed to the resonator under the battery. I got my low-end back and car runs great!
