Great idea Ceasar. BTW you're home page is awesome...lots of great pics, info, etc. I have a budget y-pipe with stock intake. I'll send it in the next day or so.

It's a magnaflow muffler, custom b pipe with a resonator, and a b pipe.

I've some insignificiant setup, but will make a video somewhere along this week. I think it will be anyway interesting to hear how high quality fart-can sounds like
I've got Ractive muffler and B-pipe and it sounds deep to me. But I am almost certain addying y-pipe will make it sound raspy.

I can't download or view them Also, do they even sell your model OBX exhaust anymore? I would like that one compared to the new one with the fart can...unless I hear the difference between the two....I'd still want your model though...

No offense to anyone....but....is it just me, or do all of the sound clips soo far sound ricey? Extremely ricey would be a better way to put it. I have heard many different exhaust setups on Maximas, and those in this thread are by far some of the riciest. On the flip side, there are many Maximas that sound nice.

Anyways, here'sMy exhaust. It's a WSP Y --> stock Cat --> 2.5" b-pipe, flowmaster 2 chambered muffler, dual pipes. I think it sounds pretty good.

While we are on this topic, would it be better to have a custom exhaust made starting witht the y pipe through the muffler? Better meaning quieter, but not so restricted? If that makes sense...

Oh! & Cheaper...

Theres a huge difference between a '94 Accord and a Max, especially if its a 4 banger. Even the V6's don't sound like the Maxima's. Maxima's sound a lot better then anything made by Honda.

Yeah, I listened to your clip too, I just think it sounds really ricey with your particular exhaust setup.

Don't get me wrong here I'm a true nissanhead, but I've always LOVED the sound of the modular 4.6.

Yeah, I used to not like Ford a year ago, but always loved the way they sound, especially the Cobras. I am getting a Dr. Gas X-pipe for Christmas, can't wait!

1FSTMAX's car actually sounded good IMO, I liked it. Sounded a lot better then what I was expecting.
