Hit 110mph then hit fuel cut off

Yo, what the hell is up with fuel cut off at 110mph? I was racing some dude and gaining on him when i got fuel cut off at 110mph. Spare me. That sucks. Anybody know how to rid of the fuel cut off, or how to extend the cut off maybe to 140mph?

If I have read correctly the only model that doesnt have a limiter is the SE.

it's okie nadir... too many these days, not worth of your time arguing somethin stupid like this.

anyway for those who doesn't know how to click the stick on 4th gen forum, here is the information.

EDIT: There seems to be some cunfusion about the function of the speed limiter. If your car has a limiter, there will be no doubt as to when it cuts off. The engine immediately cuts power and drops to idle. If your car just eases up to a speed and stops accelerating, you dont have a limiter, your car is just topped out.
you can also buy A'PEXi Rev/Speed Meter to get rid of your speed limiter. i believe A'PEXi S-AFC serves the same function.

ok now lock the thread.

I have a GXE with no limiter... Taken it up to 205km/h no prob, still had ways to go, but no road... Pulling nicely up there too... Maybe it was cause i have C&C package as well as GLE wheels...

YOU CANNOT TELL IF YOU HAVE A LIMITER MY WHAT MODEL, YOU HAVE GO TEST ANS SEE FOR YOURSELF.

some gle's have been reported to have limters and some not. some gxe's and some not.

Okay, I thnk we've established that some of the gxe's have speed limiter. Let's not bog down the server by announcing that we do or don't have a limiter on our cars. The man's question has been answered, and it definately is in the fah-q's, i've seen it there.

Weird, I hit 143 in my Max and honestly felt I could have kept going. Never once did I notice a fuel cut off though. I don't know, but I believe the cut off would have probably been there at around 145-150, I assume.
