Only get spark in cyl 3 and 5!!
Last night, my friend and I were trying to activate my VI. While we were connecting the wires ( the car was running because we were trying to test out the silenoid and needed vacuum) the car all of the sudden dies. We tried to restart it but all it would do was turnover but never fire up. We checked all of the fuses inside of the car and the fuses and fusable links inside of the engine bay and they were fine. We then swapped in my friend's coilpacks and MAF (because it through a MAF code a while back) but this didn't change anything. We measured the coilpacks with an ohmmeter and checked them for spark. They all measured correctly but we only got spark from cylinders 3 and 5. We then measured the connectors and the power and ground were fine. The rpm signal wire measured a constant .2 volts on cylinder 6 (the rpm wire we used for the harlan switch) and it would jump to .8 volts when we turned the engine over. I didn't have an oscilliscope to properly measure the varying voltage of the rpm signal wire. We checked the fuel pump and fuel injectors and they were working properly.
