snow tire size?

snow tire size?

I just wanted to see what size snow tire everyone is running. I have been told by a local shop that I should go with a 215/60 16 on my SE wheels.

Buy whatever the factory tire size is... TireRack says yours is 215/55-16...

I am running 205/65-15 snow tires on regular black steel rims, that worked fine on my 99SE. This is the tires size for the GXE so there are no fitment problems. The tires are cheaper as compare to the 16" tires. Also, the narrower tire proflie "bites" into snow better than a wider tire.
