Dome light switch in door jam fell into the body!!!

I was sittin in my car earlier today and was wondering why, when I opened the front passenger side door, the dome light wouldn't light, but when I opened every other door it would.

I unscrewed the little rubber cover that is in the door jam, and stuck my finger in the hole and felt around and i felt the clip thats suppose to be connected to the button. Can you picture what I'm saying? I don't know how it got disconnected, but it did and now it's in there. I have no idea how to get it out.

Anyone have any idea as to how to get that frigen thing out?

Maybe...er....

wow...tough (went to look @ my car lol)

try taking a hanger and bend it to fish out the wire... if worse comes to worserest you can snip the wire leave the button inside....buy a new button and saulder the new one back in there...

BTW u might have close the door with your seatbelt in the way or something in the way b4 (pushing it in ya know?)

Other than that you might wana go to the dealership and ask em for that page on the manual for your car (photo copy it)

Is there any way to get to it? I poked around with a butterknife (I keep one handy, ) and it feels like it's surrounded by metal. Any ideas?

I don't think there is any access panel in that area. That really sucks. Try taking off the interior panel on the B-Pillar to see if there are any holes on the inside.
