Blower Problems

I hear a clicking noise when I turn on my ac comming from the area around the glove compartment. Any Ideas how to fix. The noise gets faster and louder the higher the ac fan setting. Thanks for your help.

Hey, I've got that noise too, can be very annoying on the occasions I have the music turned off.

Known problem, blower brushes are bad... TSB was issued to replace the blower motor, only under warranty. I stuffed some foam around mine to mask the noise.... I think Nissan actually makes a 'kit' like this also with some noise damping material....

Maybe leaves or twigs got stuck in the blower blades? Is there any noise if AC is off and blower fan is on? The noise from the blower brushes is typically very faint at first, and gradually gets louder over many years. Also it is louder at low fan speed (1 or 2) and may go away at higher fan speed.

Description sounds about right, can't be heard at higher speeds (although the sound of the air movement might be masking it). It's not something I'm gonna waste too much time on, simple fix is to just not turn off the music, lol.

Funny thing is that the noise just went away. Maybe some leaves or twigs were just stuck. I'll keep an eye on it though. Thanks for the responses.
