what is the revlimiter at

I just recently found out that the automatic SE's have rev liliters. The revlimiter seems like it is a fuel cut. However is it a fuel cut at a specific RPM or a specific speed. when doe the car start to cut back on fuel?

i don't know if i'm getting this right but wouldn't you be able to check if you put the automatic in gear "1" and drive it without going to second...it should cut the fuel off at about 6,500rpm's or something close to that......i don't know when exactly but i'm pretty sure you can check it like that.

It's fuel cut, independent of speed, and dependent on RPM. ~6600

Fuel cut is at an indicated ~6800-6850 rpms but is really somewhere btwn ~6500-6600. Our tachs are that off in the higher RPMs.

Yeah he's on boost, so that could be a little hard once he gets some PSI in that engine. . .
