Hi, the hood support pistons on my 97 maxima recently not able to support the hood in the raised position. I have to support the hood with a stick to keep it from falling down. Can the hood pistons be fixed or do I need to get new ones?

new ones but I have some that are good but used. They were used by a little old woman that only opened the hood for oil changes...j/k. PM me if you are interested and make an offer on them.

 

Get StrongArms because they come with a lifetime warranty. When they wear out in a year or two, take them back to the store and they'll replace it for free.
