hood support pistons gone bad

Hi, the hood support pistons on my 97 maxima recently not able to support the hood in the raised position. I have to support the hood with a stick to keep it from falling down. Can the hood pistons be fixed or do I need to get new ones?

thanks.

Get StrongArms because they come with a lifetime warranty. When they wear out in a year or two, take them back to the store and they'll replace it for free. You might need your receipt for it, but they'll be free forever Since you're in CA, they'll be ripping you off It's $33 each for you and $17.49 for other states For me, it's about $40 shipped for 2 of them.
