Where to find LSD Tranny?

I am interested in finding out more about getting a hold of a Canadian I30 locking differential transmission for my '98. I checked car-parts.com and nothing. Any other routes anyone knows of? Also, what else is needed, axles?
Thanks for any pointing in the right direction.

Its still an auto. Please, someone explain why the swap is so sought after. Isn't it still an auto with about 22% power loss.

I'm confused - do you want a 5sp or auto?

Either way car-part.com has plenty avail. 3 5sp (one listed for $850 which is a good price) and like 50 automatics for $900-$1500. Lots of 5th gen locking auto's also starting at $600+.

Well, the way I see it is power to two wheels is better than power to just one. I don't like driving in the winter to begin with so I wanted to see if it is economically worth while to do a swap. And sorry, I am manual transmission. As far as the very helpful comment about all the ones available on car-part.com I still can't find them. Could you let me know what you are looking under? I have tried all 4th gen years, Infiniti I30, MT locking differential in Canada. ???

No not all of them. The Canadian I30's have it, both manual and auto.

Is it possible to just get the differential or do you need the whole tranny?
