Taking dash Gauges OUT!!!HELP!!

Questions, When taking out the gauges to change the bulbs, to get the black peice around the gauges off. do i need to take to top of the stearing collum off?? Cause i tried pulling it off and it seems to be not coming off in the middle. I would hate to pull too hard and break it. Any info would help.

Yup....you need to take out A LOT of pieces to get that stupid cluster out. Everything from the 2 bottom panels to the stearing column plastic

The panels where your fuse box is located...theres one behind the other. You need to take these out so you can take the ones on the steering column off.

I can get the gauge cluster out in about 5 minutes... Put the steering wheel down all the way and take out the 6 screws from the plastic housing behind the steering wheel. 2 screws for the black piece around teh gauge cluster. Unhook teh harness's and then the 3 screws for the actual guage cluster
