Im not sure If I have ABS. I have a 98 SE 5spd that is loaded (lther, heated seats, climate control, bla bla...) so im assuming it has ABS. I was driving in the snow for my first time and sometimes when I braked I could feel grinding and clicking through the pedeal. Is this normal or do I have a problem?

I think what your describing is ABS....if you locked your brakes with a non-abs car you wouldn't hear anything, youd just slide. Plus, if your car is loaded...you probably have ABS

You do have ABS. When you feel that strong pulsating back up against your foot in an emergency braking situation, do not let off the brakes. That is the ABS working... let it work.

Im not sure if it was pushing back but I heard and grinding type noise, anyone hear that while braking?

Lots of abs systems have grinding, noises and pedal push back. Remember that abs helps you steer not necessarily brake in the shortest distance. When you start your car you should see an abs warning lamp, if you have abs.

you definatly have abs, when you hear and feel the pulsating/grinding of the brakes do not let off, there is a reason your abs is kicking in. it helps you keep control of your car while braking hard under adverse conditions

If you have ABS there should be this BOX inside the engine bay. It's on the driver's side almost under the intake resonator. Something like that...

Like MaximamixaM said, look at the gauge cluster when you first start the car. There is an ABS light that comes on as part of the self-test.
