true cold air intake?

true cold air intake?

hey i was just wondering if anyone knew if this was a true cold air intake and if i would have to cut a hole in my fender or whatnot. whats the difference in this and a $200 cold air? anything besides filter? i will be ordering it tomorow so any help is appreciated

looks like a true CAI to me, which would require cutting.

yup, thats right ive got one my self and i havent had the time to cut yet its a ***** u gotta move a lot things.

its really not that hard to make a CAI. yeah thats all the parts that you need to make a cold air if thats what youre asking. and yes, you will have to do some cutting and customizing

a true cold air requires a hole in the fender, and has a filter that sits above the tire, recieves a fresh constant source of cold air. anything with a filter inside the engine bay is not a TRUE cold air
