How hard is it to add ABS to a 99 GXE

I've had the car for only 40 k miles and i noticed that whenever i need to stop on a dime my brakes lock up causing me to go sliding into whatever is in front of me. Has anybody ever added the ABS system to their gxe? From what i understand, ABS was an option to buy on all models. It never came standard in either the gxe, se, or gle trim.

Anyone have clues on where i can get teh whole setup instructions and parts for a cheap price?

I think you just need to get better tires. ABS is going to be extremely complicated to just add into a non-abs car

Seems like you need to learn how to drive better and stop earlier instead of stomping on the brakes.

Also seems like you need to read the FAQ threads.
