5spd conversion

The only thing you have to modify is that you have to cut/drill the sheetmetal in the firewall so you can bolt the clutch pedal and master cylender on since there is no hole there on automatics(theres an outline to where it supposed to be but no hole). Everything else bolts right up.

Sounds like nismo already nailed this pretty good.. only change is the cutting of a small hole in the firewall for the master cylinder to fit in. Everything else is already there and pretty straightforward.

about using auto ecu- it will work and you can drive with it but you will get a ton of CEL lights since its thinking its an auto. you might get some funny Idle problems too but its still drivable.

will '00-'01 manual trannies work with all the 4th gens? are the gear ratios the same as the 4th gen (i don't know since the engine blocks are the same but i thought the power curves were slightly different).
