had to touch them up myself. they came out pretty well, only now don't match my stock inners 100% because i had those painted to match my painted stock outers. anyways, not too far off and i love em! i've been waiting for a while and finally got them for only $120 thanx to a nice member on here. so what do you think? much better than my old altezzas, hopefully will make my max a little bit nicer looking than all the stock ones around.

i'm on my way!

Shouldn't "custommaxima" make these?

After all, they are custom...and it IS a Maxima

You definitely will stand out from all other 95-96ers. I love mine and receive tons of compliments from other maxima owners around my area.

thanx for the comments everyone! i never thought i'd actually get them. but it's funny, now that i finally have my hands on them and they're on my car, i'm thinking about maybe selling them so i can get better winter wheels than my honeycombs that i'd want to sell. what do you think, keep or sell?? i know ultimately it's up to me, just figured i'd see what people thought...

I say keep the red/clears. They are really rare making you one of akind! To sell for winter rims is foolish IMO. You could always save for winter rims in the future. Even if you do sell and eventually come across more money in the future, red/clears are hard to come by. I say keep the rare look and get winter rims later.

i agree, keep the red/clears. they look so good on a 95-96 and are very rare, you may not find them again at that cheap price.

keep them. red/clears are the number one nicest mod for the max (cosmetically). they set the car off in a way that is so subtle people are always saying to me "the back of your car looks hotter than other maximas but i don't know why" i think the mod looks especially good with a white car like yours or mine because then the back has only two colors, white and red.

i took them off am most likely selling them so i can buy christmas gifts for everyone and money towards bills. this is what the butt looks like now:
(if i hear any comments or cracks on the wheel gap, i'll crack yo face! )

not sure if it's the right decision seeing that i've always really wanted them. but then again, they're only tail lights and it's only a car. blah, so very very hard letting go

Screw paying for it. I want those on my 96 but there HAS to be a way to make them. I mean, that guy did. Anyone have a right up on it? I know the 97+ you heat up the amber and peel it off of something, but wouldnt the 95 96 be the same?

the way he did it was to buy all clears, then paint to match...too bad the all clears are just as hard if not harder to find now days.

yea... you CAN make them. all the methods require buying something else. you cant home make them like 97+ you need a new lens (either red/clear or all clear) You cant open up your tail lights like the 97+ tails...its not an easy process for you
