Blower Motor Resistor

Hello, does anyone know how to fix the blower motor resistor on a 95 max? When I turn on the fan switch for heat, it only works on setting 4 but not on 1,2 and 3. I would greatly appreciate any advice on how to fix this myself if possible or should i take it to a mechanic? By the way, I was told the blower motor resistor part is only $25-$30.

yeppers go to the dealership and then get the part. its about 20 bones and takes 5 mins to do. Its SUPER EASY to change. do NOT pay someone to do it for you.

Yes mine broke 6 mons ago, same problems.....

thanks for the info, i did call the dealer and they told me it would cost $130 dollars for labor. This other dealer told me $87 dollars. I thought that was way too high which is why i'm asking for you guys help. If anyone out there have any instructions on how to change the resistor, i would greatly appreciate it.

Is this a part that they usually have in stock or do they need to order it?
