Every morning the car squeels when it starts? I changed the belts last winter so I think they should be fine. Does the alternator belt need to be tightened up or is there something else? Thanks, David.

 

How long does the squeeling last....if its only a few seconds and when your starting the car then its your started making noise..kinda like a high pitched vrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. My belts squeeke some not squel when it gets below 30......then after about 30 seconds of warming up..it usually goes away.
You can always put a little belt dressing on them...

 

Yeah its only for a few seconds and goes away.

 

for me it was a tensioner pulley the one ner the alternator
