One more Gauge Bulb upgrade (Pics inside)

Well since everyone is doing it. I decided to do mine as well.
I replaced my stock bulbs with White 194 LED bulbs. The Pics actually show the gauges much brighter then what they really are, but I like the way they look. They look kinda purple/white

The Left one is the stock bulb and the right one is the 194 White LED.

What you guys think?

I have Polargs in mine and they look sweet...Decided not to go with LED's because I heard the light doesnt spread evenly across the gauges...Polargs make a HUGE difference over stocks IMO.

I got them from http://superbrightleds.com
Here is the page with the bulbs

The reason I went with LEDs was so they don't fade in a week, but I think regular bulbs are brighter. Im going to try the ones with the 4 LEds and see how they look

Optimus - I believe that the ones with the four bulbs will look much worse. What you have now is the "inverted" LED which is specifically designed to spread the light, which is what you want for the dash. The 4 LED bulbs are very directional, and may give spotlight effects. If you try, please show us, though - I'm curious!

On the other hand, the inverteds from that site aren't very high MCD (brightness) as compared to the 4 LED arrays, so maybe that will compensate for the directionality of the other bulbs...

Are these direct replacement with the stock ones? Also how many bulbs do you need to do the entire gauge?

you'll need 5 of them. all you do is pull out the stock bulbs and insert the new ones.
