O2 sensor question...codes wont go away

Ok well since my cars in the garage for the next month or so untill i get the trany fixed i figured i'd use the time to fix everything else...This isnt a recent problem, its been like this for about 6 months now. I had a high flow cat on that left my o2 sensor hanging to low and last winter the rear sensor broke off the car, of course this would throw a CEL so i replaced that sensor and still got the same O2 sensor codes...Then i figured well the cars got so many miles i might as well change the other 2, after changing them, clearing the codes, i take the car for a drive, about 2 hours later the codes come back on o2 sensor malfunction or whatever they read. Well i gave up after that. The CEL has been on for months and everytime i check it i get the same codes.
Has anyone else experienced this, could it posibly be because of the y pipe with high flow cat or is there some other problem I should look into, i've checked conections to make sure everythings ok but havent acually tested with a meter....
any help would be greatly apreciated, i know if i take it to a shop thier gonna tell me i need new o2 sensors

thanx in advance
