Airbag Light Solution

Hey all, My airbag light has been blinking ever since I purchased the car (1 mo. ago). I was receiving a LONG, LONG, SHORT code when I followed the diagnostic instructions in the FAQ. I also knew a new battery would be needed because the car was turning over slowly and my lights would dim with my subwoofers. Today I picked up a blue top deep cycle optima battery (D34M), and magically my airbag light turned off after doing the diagnostic cycle immediately after installing the new battery.

If anyone has a blinking airbag light and is receiving the LONG, LONG, SHORT code; I would recommend that you have your battery tested. I have not payed the dealer jack to find out what the code means, but my situation is leading me to believe that the LONG, LONG, SHORT code indicates a low voltage situation.
