1, 4, or 6 led bulbs?

1, 4, or 6 led bulbs?

which is better for the instrument panel? the 1 led bulbs, or the 4 led bulbs. and do the 6 led bulbs even fit?

sure wish i could search...

The 6 will fit (as long as your stock cluster holds wedge bulbs to begin with) and are best for minimal hot spots. ny96max has the blue 6-LED bulbs in his cluster and has virtually no hot spots.

im not sure what you mean...could my stock cluster possibly not hold them???

you say VIRTUALLY no hot spots? so there are some? or...

98-99 gauge clusters do not use 194 wedge bulbs in the gauge cluster, we have much smaller wedge bulbs which are hard to find. It's possible to solder in 194 bulbs to ours though.
I wasn't sure if 95-96 had the 194's or 95-97, I guess it's 95-97.

I've seen some gauge clusters with some pretty bad hot spots due to bad bulb selection. When I say virtually no hot spots, I mean that everything lights up very bright, with some spots lighting up a little more bright than others. Trust me though, it looks good.

ok thanks for the info. by the way, what kind of shifter do you have?

one more thing, i am interested in doing something similar to your led setup. would you be available for help if i have questions or...
