Paceseter Short Throw Moves Everything Forward

I have put the pacesetter short throw shifter on my 97 max and i noticed that everything is farther forward.. for instance 4th gear which should be angled toward the back of the car is straight up and down and neutral is farther forward and 3rd is even farther... .. does anyone else have this problem? is there anything you can modify to make the shifter pivot further toward the rear of the car?...

nope.that is just how it is..ull get used to it in 2 hours of driving. i re rolled by shofter boot so there is less slack giving the apprearance that the shifter is in a more normal spot. plus im tall, the further position is comfortable for me.

Any aftermarket short shifter will do that for you. I thought about this and for awhile I considered it a bad design.
But if you think about it, your hand has better leverage from the 2-3 shift with 2nd being straight up and down. I've gotten well used to my B&M short shifter...
