Hi guys, I need some quick feedback. I drove a '99 Maxima SE 5-speed today (white with black leather), all options (Bose, heated seats, sunroof, CD changer, etc), as well as a front Stillen strut brace and rear sway bar, with 36k miles, for $18,300. He's also including 4 snow tires mounted on steel wheels. This is from a private seller. Car's in fabulous condition, immaculate, no oil dripping or anything (always been fed Mobil 1 synthetic). Does this sound like a good deal? I love the car, but want some opinions before I go further. Checked the VIN at carfax, it's clean. I live in Massachusetts. Thanks!!!!

Yeah thats actually sounds about right. My max was in that price range and its a year older. Make sure you check everything, and try to haggle anyways.

good deal

That seems like a good deal to me. I got my 98 Max SE 5spd with 90000KM on it for $16,700CA. So you guys do the coversion. My car is also in great shape and etc. all toys and blah blah black on black leather, etc.
So bargain with him for a bit, he'll drop it down. 17+change is a grat price for it.

I just sold my 99 SE (5 speed) with 0 options for about 18K and it had 20k miles. I'd say if you can whittle him down to high 17s thta would be a very fair deal. He's close already and I would assume he'd drop a few hundred bucks. Especially b/c it's a 5 speed-they're hard to sell unless you are an auto enthusiast...

Doesn't sound too bad. I bought my car seven months ago from a Nissan dealership. I paid $19k and it had 32k miles.

I bought my '97 SE 5-speed almost exactly one year ago with 36k miles for 16 even....it didn't have leather or BOSE though.....I say get him down in the 17s, remember...he'd be LUCKY to get 15 from a dealer for that car, and 5-speeds aren't easy to sell on your own! my car now has 62,500 miles on it (I know I drive too much), but I haven't had a problem yet. VERY reliable car.
