Bose not working please helppp!

hello there! my bose headunit is having some problems starting. it makes a little noise when attempting to eject a cd, but other than that it dosent start or illuminate. nothing else works except for the eject button. i tried taking it apart, and fiddled with the wires but nothing. just grr's at me when i try to eject the cd with the button. i got a 7.5 amp fuse which i thought was behind the audio peice but its not. i checked all the fuses under the drivers side, replaced them as well, but still no action. could anyone help me by any chance? i realized there are other little sockets to have things plugged into them but i cant find out what theyre used for. do i need a new bose headunit?

These are infamous for breaking. My display just went out on me and I bought a 1999 Maxima HU which looks a lot better than the 1995 HU. Anyway, your better off going onto ebay (like I did) and buying a new or used one. Its just not worth it to fix your current one.

You can fix your Bose headunit. But it's up to you to descide if it's worth it.
I just (yesterday) repaired my headunit that had a non-functioning display.
Basically, you have to take the unit apart, remove the power board, and re-solder re-solder re-solder.

I posted some info here:

There's no definate solution, but there is a good chance that board is your problem.
