My '95 GXE has light "popping" noises that appears to be in the front end suspension on both sides. I really notice it as I am backing out of driveway at slow speeds but can also hear it when I go forward at slow speeds. Could it be the front struts or some part therof? Car has 90K but struts do not appear to need replacing.

Check to make sure that both of your cv outer boots are not torn. If they are then you may be in deep kimshee. This would mean your cv joints are going bad and more than likely need replacing. If this is not the problem then post back with some other symptoms and see if you can give other times when this noise occurs such as when turning, braking etc.etc. Post back and see what happens.
