Im a new member. Ive read this board for a long time.
Before someone jumps on me about doing a seach.
I did one already and didnt find what I was looking for.
Here goes, I have PIAA heads up front with clear corners and rewired clearence lights(next to headlight). What I want is ALL the lights to match color wise. I just put in Polorgs hyperwhites(M4 & M14) in the corners and clearence lights and they dont match the PIAAs. The PIAAs seem to be a lil more of a yellow white color.
WHO has got all their front lights to "match" and with
WHAT bulbs (raybrig, polarg, hiper, whatever).
Should I just go with a different headlight bulb?
Thanks...

I have the same setup as you, polargs in the corners and clearance and i used the apc 100w plasmas for the headlights. Thats the best match i have found and it looks real good. But you will probably need to also get the upgrade harness.

By your pic, you seem pretty close to matching up. What kind of lights you got in your max? Those clearance lights seem to go perfect with the headlights, and side marker.

Matching lites

Funny you mention that.....I purchased a set of APC SuperWhites headlites on 3/31/00. The left one went out friday morning(3/2/01). Friday night I purchased a set of PIAA S/W and when I put one in saturday morning....Yuk, same thing happenned to me, they looked yellowish. I guess they would only look good if you just chng the headlites. Having the re-wired corners and superwhite Polargs, No match. I went back and picked up a set of 'MAX' S/W (no relation to Maxima) and they matched just like the APC's.
I hope they last...
BTW, I prefer to pay less, get a year of life from these bulbs, than to pay $80 bucks for the PIAA's and 3 months guarantee.

Try running a search on this topic. But anyways, you can get an upgrade harness at http://www.autotoys.com

I have done a search...

Even though this topic has come up often, noone has given a clear answer. I think most people would like to have matching lights up front. We just have to many different bulbs sizes up front, and spending $20 (and more) here and there experimenting on the correct combination can be annoying and costly.

As for autotoys.com. I saw the harness there I just didnt know if it was the APC or what.

The harness doesn't have to be APC, a harness is a harness.

My lighting setup on my 96 SE

For my lighting setup on my 96 Max SE, I have Eurolite 100/80 Xenon Crystal headlamp bulbs and they match up with my Polarg M12 hyper white 35/5w corner lamp bulbs (when I use my turn signals, they match cuz they aren't rewired to go on at 35watts all the time). I also use Polarg M4 hyper white 5w wedge bulbs for my sidemarker lense, and that matches pretty good with my Eurolites. My turn signal Polarg M9 27w bulbs don't match that great with the sidemarker and headlamp color, but i could care less. As far as fogs, I have problems trying to change the color to hyper white. I think this only applies to the 95-96 maximas, since i haven't heard 97-99 maximas having this problem. I think I just might try to get the IONIZED BLUE OR IONIZED YELLOW H3's just to change the color around.

I wonder how my car would look like with Naxos Xenon Blue 100/80 bulbs. Would it be any different than my Eurolites? Could anyone tell me the different between those 2 brands, because I'm assuming that both brands are the same since they are most likely made in Korea??? And they probably h Thanks guys, and good luck with your lighting setup!

I have Polargs in the corners running 21 watts, the Polarg wedge bulbs in the side bumper lights, dual-filament Polargs in the front blinkers running constant 5 watts and blinking 21 watts alternating with the side bumper lights, and "Max Super White" 80/100 watt headlights. I'm thinking of changing the front blinkers to run constantly at 21 watts to match up with the corners, but anyway, this seems to be the best setup I found and I don't think anything is better than this. Basically, I don't like PIAA's all too much because of price, performance, and looks. I want the Polarg color and anything thats Kelvin temperature 4200k can match up with them, and PIAA doesn't seem to have enough blue in it. All I can say is stay away from APC sidemarker and corner bulbs. They seem to be greenish white.
