My light went out a couple years ago too, not all of it but just part of it. I bought a whole new LED light for the spoiler, I think it cost about $30.
Check here for one (I think this is it if some one could confirm it though) :

all the brake lights work but not the spoiler. you know i just got the car back from being painted. im wondering if the spoiler had to come off and some wires just didnt get hooked up? what to do ..going to check into it in the morning ?

Yes, check to make sure it is connected. if it is, then check the wires comming out of the brake light, and make sure they are not cut, dammaged, or pulled.
i had the same thing happen to me, and when i took it off, i saw that the wires were cut in half due to poor instalation. i just had to simply solder them back together, tape them up, and file down some metal so it would not cut the wires again. check it out, and let us know how it works out.
