Why are stock 97 SE wheels like this?

Why are stock 97 SE wheels like this?


There are black stuff. On all of these wheels, I've seen them. Is this dirt that everyone just doesn't take out?

yes its just dirt. I used to clean mine with a little wood stick and a terry towel around it. But now I don't have that problem. I have a bigger problem

It's brake dust, and it can come out pretty easily. All you need to do is get some citrus cleaner in a spray bottle, spray it on the wheels, in the tight crevices, spray alot of it, then simply take your hose w/favorite nozzle attachment and power wash the dirt out. See my homepage, you'll find no dirt in my wheels....

I think most people leave it dirty though. They should be ed.

Sterling mist come on. look at the pic and you notice the car is a dark color.

lol...take back that slap, it is Sterling Mist...

Thanks 2k3, I take pride in my baby...the rest of it is spotless like that...as it should be, it only has 25K on it, i bought it with 20k...
