Ok, woke up this morning, there was ice all over the car and it really hasn't been driven in about a week (May about a total of 5 miles in the last 7 days), but it was below freezing and it never freezes in Cali so that is sort of different. Anyway, I go to start it up and there is a loud crack and then the car sputters and dies. I try and start it again, it takes about 5-6 secs, and then it finally turns over, needs a little bit of gas to keep it running, but no crack. After giving it a little gas, it was fine. No strange noises when driving, no leaks or anything, no over heating, ect. Although the loud crack really bothered me. Anyone have any ideas what it could be, or should I be worried?

Other insights on my car, water pump does leak and is being replaced this week, but it sounded like it came from the other side of the car and it only leaks a little until the car is warmed up. . .
