They are good quality, but somewhat difficult to install. You have to make sure they sit flush or they will cause your needles to stick. You must be very delicate with installation so you do not mess up the needles (and their potentionmeters). I will take you about 2-4 (on the upwards side for your first time) to do this modification, but I will tell you they look really goood in my opinion.

I have them, it wasnt too bad for the install. I did the install at the same time I did the chrome gauge bezel. Not too hard. I hooked them up to a toggle switch along with my fog lights.

i have similar gauges in mine, took around 3 hours to do. i'd say it was money well spent -looks good. when intalling them you can either hook them up to dash lights or make a seperate switch for them. however if you do mess up your needles, u're lookin at a costly repair so take your time.

Can those be used on a 96 GLE? I noticed the Temp and Fuel gauges are on oppisite sides. I have never messed with this so I don't know if the gauges come as a single unit or if I can just swap the faces around.

That's the same pic from an auction but the guy never sent my gauges. I'm currently fighting the charges on my AMEX. The guy is no longer a registered user on ebay either.

MaxedOutOfCash, can you send a link to the person who you bought it from? If it's not the same person I want to try and order it again. TIA!

Every where I look I see Reverse El Gauges for the cars under the 98-99 models... All I see are up to 97? Is there anyone with Reverse El gauges and have a 98 or 99 & where did you get them?

Thanks
Alex

The ebay auctions usually listed 95-99... but i just checked it i guess some don't work for the 98 and 99 models since now they state only 95-97... I did find one though... check this one out... looks the same as the 95-97's though...
