Can't diag ecu

hey i am having problems with diagnosing the ecu. i followed the instructions on one of the threads, but when i try to turn the screw clockwise, the screwdriver is not gripping on anything. there doesnt seem to be anything there except a hole. from what i hear, this seems to be a pretty routine job. is the screw deep or is it right in the front. any help will be appreciated...

You're probably just jamming the screwdriver into some random hole. You should be able to see the screw. It's the shiny thing right next to the writing on the sticker.

try pushing the gas pedal in so you can get a straighter line coming in to the screw and also use a flashlight so you can see what your doing. It also helps if you just lie your stomach down on the sideskirt and crawl to it. Sounds like a lot, but it'll get you the readings.
