plug wires

is it worth it to get a set of aftermarket spark plug wires for the maxima? I know that on some aftermarket cars , plug wires may provide a very slight benefit and on others it doesnt help as the stock wires are the best for the car........just wondering?

Our cars do not use wires. We have coil packs. You do drive a 96 right?

The wires you're seeing are for the first and second gen maximas. Look at the year models for the cars. You will also come across timing belts for some of the older Max's. If you're a 96 owner, you don't have to worry about any of this.

it's an innocent question given all the hype that plug wires are given...however, there are always a ton of threads w/people lamenting about their coil packs. A better question would be are there any aftermarket coil packs for us....
