1 inch? that's pretty damn big! I'd stick to 10-15mm spacers...they're usually done in MMs...

Does anyone make fender flares?

you almost never need the spacers to fit brakes...most people use them to fill out a car's stance and get the +es of a wider track. I can understand needing bigger wheels to swallow brakes, but spacers won't help with that...

I agree with defacto. I am in the process of making a 5mm front spacer. I'm going to buy 10 or 15mm from a local shop for the rears. I think our wheels look good if they line up with the fender. If they go past it looks wack.

Haha, so true...so many people do that crap down here in NM and I think it is gay as hell seeing a lincoln town car...or a dodge omni...cavalier...etc. With like 13" wheels that stick out like a foot from the damn car's body...I laugh everytime I see those cars rolling around town

exactly...that's what i was getting at...anything that isn't lined with the fender looks kinda weird...when they're lined properly, it looks money...so get out a T or L square, and find out how much space you need to fill the rears? IMO, the fronts aren't really neccesary, but that's my .02. If you are really kitted, then maybe, but that's for obsessive aesthetic people....but only a small bump...

300zx brakes. the way my wheels are, they wont fit unless I move them out almost an inch. It might be a bit less, but I just want to be safe.

does anyone know what kind of work is needed to fit universal flares to the car?

LOL...lowriders in Salt Lake? Wow...i've never seen that, and i'm usually there about 3 times a year...

And explain your issue with the brakes...this sounds extremely weird. Anyone who's used 300ZX brakes (not many) I haven't heard their needing spacers. People stuff way bigger brakes under the wheels of our cars without problems...a Brembo Gran Turismo 14 inch kit comes to mind...all it needed was some 19s to help swallow the diameter of it all...ix:

the spokes of my wheels go from the center, and bend in inwards creating the lip. the caliper doesnt fit because the spokes interfere with it.

I'd get some different wheels, the spacers aren't a good option. A stock maxima wheel should be able to swallow 300ZX calipers, considering that the 300ZX makes do with similar sized wheels. You'd need such a big spacer for it, that you'd find serious issues with things like bump steer, wobbly feelings, general uncommunicative and weird steering, etc...

mb1, its sounding to me like you want to look like a lowriding ese you know holmes. Big @ss spacers+fender flares on a sedan=Mexican. Don't tell me you want the fenders to be chrome too. Well i think it will look terrible. Stay moderate, 5-15mm, and you will retain your "cool" status in my book. BTW, what kinda rims are those? That sucks that they don't fit? Where'd you get em and why didn't someone tell you they woudn't fit. Also, if they don't fit why are they on for that picture?
