Still want lowered ride, but a gentler suspension, help

I currently have KYB/AGX shocks and struts with B&G springs. I love the look and want to keep it, but I think that the springs are really harsh. Plus because my max is a 5spd the front sits higher (B&G's were meant for heavier auto tranny) I was wondering if H&R (or any other companies) springs were better and if the ride was a bit gentler--Detroit roads are the worst!

I don't think any aftermarket springs will make your ride gentler but from what people have been saying H&R have the best ride quality out of all of them

From: Near Archer High School, Ga
go w/HR, if HR dont cut it put your stock springs back on and that will solve the gentler ride issue.

Warpspeed subfarme connectors will not only reduce harshness, they'll improve handling. Whether our not you're willing to pay $220 for Stage I & II SFCs plus $80 to install is the real question.

My progress springs seem a bit harsh too but the car sure does look much better with the drop. I have my AGX on the lowest to get an acceptable ride. It's not so bad but the change from what it was, is kinda big. The handling is very good though but i was wondering what it would be like with the stock springs and AGX. Anyone ever tried that...was the difference in handling noticeable with just the AGX?
I was thinking about cutting the stock springs but that is usually never a good idea. The other idea I have is to use a grinder/sander and make the lower coils of the progress springs thinner but I'm not sure if that will weaken the springs and cause them to break.

OK, so if I add just stage 1 SFC's will that increase ride harshness? From what I
gather it makes the body extremley rigid, therefore communicating more road feel into the seats. However, I could be wrong. Do you think that adding stage 1 SFC's is a better idea than changing my springs to H&R?

I hear that SFCs do not reduce harsness at all, but will take out many of the creaking and chassis flexing noises. A stiffer chassis cannot make your car any less harsh. Usually it makes it slightly more harsh.

Well I wish I had read that before buying the stuff. I still have the original rear tokico shocks so I was wondering if there would be any problem(uneven body roll etc.) with swaping out the rear AGX's for the tokico? Would putting the tokico's in the rear make a noticeable difference in comfort or would it be better to change the front struts?
