My 98 Max failed inspection emission. I assume that the check engine error I had has something to do with it(duh!). The error code is 01 15 Fuel Inject Right Bank Lean.

Question: I found the list of possible causes below. Is it possible for a home mechanic to troubleshoot this any further w/o buying expensive parts to do so??

- Intake air leaks
- Defective Front Heated Oxygen Sensor
- Fuel injectors
- Exhaust gas leaks
- Incorrect fuel pressure
- Lack of fuel
- Faulty Mass Air Flow Sensor
